We interact, play, and work with the puppies every day to encourage their best behavior, and prepare them for their forever homes. They will be well on their way to being potty trained by the time they go home!
BREEDING
SUPPORT
We breed multi-gen, labradoodles with a focus on intelligence, gentleness, and hypoallergenic, non-shedding coats. They just naturally end up being incredibly cute. Their parents have been DNA health screened, and they are both vivacious, smart, loving dogs with amazing temperaments.
All of our puppies are smart, playful, and full of joy. They each have their own individual personalities though, and we're happy to help you find the best fit for your home and lifestyle.
We love getting updates from our puppies' families, and we're always here to answer any questions about their care, grooming, training, or anything else.
MEET THE PARENTS
Mochi and Moxie are both multigenerational, non-shedding labradoodles. They are super smart, loving, social, active dogs with gentle temperaments. Both parents love the water, playing outside, and are always up for an adventure. Inside the house, they are completely trustworthy and well behaved. They love meeting new people, and get along well with other dogs and the animals on our farm. Both have been Embark Breeder DNA health-screened with no issues. Dad is 55 lb and mom is 45. Their puppies have ranged from 38-60 lbs full-grown. We're happy to send you their DNA health screening results (PDF) upon request. Mochi is registered with the Continental Kennel Club (CKC): 1931572-2. Pups can be CKC registered based on parental DNA results if you wish.

ABOUT US
Big Foot Doodles is a small-batch breeder of multi-gen, non-shedding labradoodles located in Toledo, Washington. We believe in the rewarding and educational experience of raising a puppy, and are excited to offer high-quality labradoodle puppies to families, including those with allergies to other dog breeds. Our puppies will have all the necessary shots before going to their new homes. Our goal is to help you find the perfect addition to your family!
We hand-raise our puppies on our homestead farm in Southwest Washington State where they can run and play in a healthy, mentally stimulating environment. They have plenty of opportunities to explore and develop their doggy-skills like scenting, spatial awareness, and socializing with our other animals. Please reach out to schedule a time to meet the pups!

Homing Agreement
These are the things we ask of prospective pet parents:
01
House your dog inside
-
These dogs are bred to be companion animals, and they thrive on human contact. Please don’t leave your dog on an outside tie-up because it can lead to behavioral problems. The same goes for confined spaces for long periods of time. Both situations can potentially make dogs territorial and/or show signs of anxiety.
03
Access to Water at All Times
Make sure puppies have free access to fresh water at all times, and can eat the recommended amount of food for their size. Puppies have small systems, and they can get thrown out of balance by a lack of hydration, electrolytes, blood sugar levels, etc. Some people think withholding water is a good way to prevent accidents during house training, but this is a bad idea. You’re better off cleaning up a few mistakes than having a sick puppy or a trip to the emergency vet.
We free-feed our dogs, and they have never had any issues with food-guarding, overeating, or weight problems.
05
Clean Your Dog's Teeth
They don’t mind toothbrushing if you introduce it early and use a flavored dog toothpaste. Raw beef bones are also an excellent treat that helps keep tarter from building up.
07
Pet Insurance
It’s important to be able to deal financially with an unexpected injury or illness.
02
Use Positive Training
-
Never hit or punish your dog physically. Labradoodles are highly intelligent, have very good memory, and are naturally eager to please their people. If they are engaging in negative behavior, withholding your attention is usually enough to discourage it. All dogs make mistakes, but negative experiences can create long-lasting anxiety around training, which ends up making it much harder in the long run.
04
Please Vaccinate
Especially in our wet PNW environment, parvo and leptospirosis are very common and deadly. Also consider flea, tick, and heartworm prevention depending on conditions in your area to protect your pets from common deadly diseases.
06
Consider Delaying Neuter/Spay
For health reasons, current recommendations are to wait at least 18 months to neuter or spay dogs in this size range. This gives them time to fully develop and the best chance of avoiding musculoskeletal issues and torn ligaments. Some vets are now recommending not neutering male dogs unless there is a specific reason to do so. Our experience has been that these dogs are very easy-going, and don’t have any issues with aggression or marking.
08
Do Not Surrender
-
Hopefully it never happens, but if you ever need to give up your dog for some unforeseen reason, please contact us, and don’t surrender to a shelter. We will help find a home, or take the dog in ourselves.
